No it didn't snow, this was from last year, but it is supposed to snow on Thursday! We woke again for the second morning in a row, in the teens here! That is very unusual for us. So I'm looking forward to making a hot steaming pot of soup today. What kind? I don't know. But one thing is for sure. If I don't have all the ingredients, I'll just make due. "Soups On- Cause Baby, It's Cold Outside!"
No it didn't snow, this was from last year, but it is supposed to snow on Thursday! We woke again for the second morning in a row, in the teens here! That is very unusual for us. So I'm looking forward to making a hot steaming pot of soup today. What kind? I don't know. But one thing is for sure. If I don't have all the ingredients, I'll just make due. I did venture outside this morning and boy, it is cold! We had that new Thai broth (I added veggies, turkey and noodles) yesterday. I also want to make split pea soup with my leftover bone in ham.

Chili, and I made a pot last night! I am definitely in "soup mode," though, since I just went across the street for oyster stew for lunch. Yum!

ReplyDeleteI'm hating this cold weather! I've been flipping through my soup recipes too -- I'm making shrimp gumbo tomorrow -- that should heat things up a bit!
