Hendrix 40th Anniversary Catering

This weekend I had the opportunity to cater for a very lovely family. The Hendrix's of Fayette County. The celebration was for the parents 40th anniversary . The event was held at the Heritage Christian Church in Peachtree City. The church has a wonderful kitchen for events and was a pleasure to work in. Thank you to the Hendrix family for allowing us the privilege of being a part of this joyous celebration.
The Event's Menu:
Assorted Dinner Rolls with Butter
Southern Green Beans and Creamy Baked Macaroni with 3 Cheeses
Tossed Salad with Ranch, French & ItalianChicken Cordon Bleu & Pot Roast with Gravy A delightful family and a wonderful celebration event of 40 years of marriage.
Later this week I will post the desserts that were prepared by the Hendrix's daughter in law- they were wonderful!

OFF TO DAYCARE

It's a sad day in my house today. The Munchkin has started day care. So Nana is a little sad and teary eyed. It's hard when the children fly the coop, but when the grand babies go, well that is just almost unbearable. I have a lot to be thankful for because being a grand mom you sometimes never even get to see them for long periods of time and I am so blessed to have been able to keep her with me for a nice long 2 1/2 years and even though I had a small break from Dec - March I still kept her quite often. So say a prayer for me today as I wander aimlessly throughout the house picking up her toys, toothbrush, hairbows, tea set, etc & just stop often to sigh and brush back a tear or two.

I love you Munchkin!
