While shopping at TJ Maxx (of course) I spotted these plates and almost bought them for my oldest daughter's wedding shower party. But I really didn't think she would like them. To my surprise SHE bought them and brought them to me. Aren't they the cutest things? Cheap too.
Now these, are MY great find from the antique store. They have no markings but I really could care less- I think they are so pretty. And can you believe $3.00 for 2! I think I may go back and see if the casserole dish and platters are still there. I don't know why I didn't just get them at the same time. (Ugh!)
If any of you are familiar with this pattern I'd love to know more about it.
All these colors match my home so nicely.

The plates your daughter bought for the shower are really pretty. You also had a great find and I hope you can get the casserole dish and platters to match this pretty pattern.
Cute-cute-cute wedding wares, and I am also 99.9 percent certain I once had a platter and 2 cups and saucers that match your dishes. I think I sold them at a yard sale for lack of space, but yours are so pretty it makes me wish I had them back!
Don't you just hate it when you miss a great find or sell one? My ceramic butterfly teapot, cup & saucers are like that. I had a set of cups, saucers, luncheon plates and a teapot that I sold and regretted ever since. But one of my daughters found another pot, one cup and saucer and napkin rings and bought them to replace the others. Lucky Me!
That platter is beautiful! :)
GIRL! That is my Grandmother's China pattern......I have them all.
I'll send you the information on it. I just researched it this Spring and have been "meaning" to put them on my blog but of course I've not done it yet. Ugh. But I have the photos already......so you probably prompted me to do it now.
I love those pretty little plates. I want some too for my daughter. HA! But.....we need to DRAW A LINE somewhere.......however.....we've been "coloring outside of the lines" lately it seems.
We will chat more soon.....promise. I want to learn more on the diet too. I'm not doing so good myself. HA!
See ya!

The wedding plates are cute!
That platter looks like the china pattern my grandmother had, I love it! I don't know the name of it, if you find any info on it, please let me know! I would love to have a few pieces of it! (Like I need some more china!! LOL!)
