Brunch with the Butterflies & (And a Cutie Pie)

Yesterday while cleaning off my back porch my grand daughter asked "Could we eat on the butterfly dishes for 'Breckiss tommono Nana' ?" Of course I could not say no could I? So we had a lovely little brunch this morning with the butterflies and hummingbirds while overlooking my blooming garden. We shared a fluffy cheese omlet, rosemary & garlic new potatoes and cranberry scones with hot tea.
We had such fun! She loved eating outside and so did nana.

Lovely and my kind of breakfast - what could be better than finishing with tea and scones? It is wonderful that you are teaching your grand daughter to appreciate the finer things in life - family, good food, civility, etc. Those are pretty pictures.

A truly beautiful little girl!
I always enjoyed the tea parties with my granddaughter and grandson, I always taught them correct etiquette they wondered why....now at age eighteen they know the reason.
Gorgeous dishes !!

How sweet. Good to see you are using the "special dishes," it turns them from being "things belonging to grandma" to "things that bring back memories of grandma."

How fun. What a special time to share. You are never to young to enjoy tea.
